Parent Responsibilities

Parents attend the co-op with their children and every parent has a role and responsibility at SOAR. SOAR is not a drop off program, nor a co-op where the parent sit back while kids attend.

Everyone has unique talents and abilities that can help build and enrich our community. It is important for all members to be committed to homeschooling, to serving others at SOAR, to taking responsibility for their own kids’ behavior, and to fulfilling their membership requirements.

Potential Parent Volunteer Positions

• Class co-teachers (2 in each class)
• Club organizer
• Set up
• Clean up
• Event Coordinator/Committee
• Recess Monitor
• Classroom Assistants/floaters (all non teachers have this role in addition to another role)
